Hoyleton Youth and Family Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Bilingual Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services and advocacy for families in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group therapy to children, adults, couples, and families in an office or community setting.
- Complete bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment goals with clients and their guardians.
- Participate in clinical case staffing and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals as part of a care team and external agencies to coordinate services that support clients' mental health and stability.
- Ensure proper billing for self-pay and insured clients, and participate in utilization reviews of clinical files.
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and various treatment modalities used with the population we serve.
- Understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism.
- Ability and willingness to complete the Children and Residential Experiences (CARE) and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) certification.
