The Loaded team is in pursuit of a dynamic Director of Brands Sales. The ideal candidate is strategic, creative, resilient, collaborative, coachable, and loves the art of selling. They should have experience working with internal partners, and external parties to sell and execute integrated content campaigns across various digital media.

The Director of Brand Sales, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, will be responsible for growing the company’s commercial book of business from non-endemic brands and agencies, with a focus on partnerships for our exclusive roster of talent. The candidate will be also responsible for nurturing, maintaining, and further developing established relationships while also proactively securing new partners and opportunities.

On any given day you might…

  • Identify and solicit business from inside and outside Loaded and Open World’s existing partner networks
  • Communicate with potential clients, identify their needs/KPIs, and design a strategy to create partnerships that will satisfy them 
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental, internal stakeholders and lead ideation, development, and presentation of forward-thinking sponsorship solutions to brands, generating business for our talent client roster
  • Work to proactively maintain and grow our existing relationships to drive additional contracted sales, extensions, and renewals
  • Contribute to the overarching sales strategy by proactively identifying opportunities and sharing them with the team
  • Mentor junior team members, consult with peers, and advise leadership as we work to continually improve upon our sales efforts
  • Represent our companies at the relevant industry events, evangelizing our product and service offerings and growing our network and reach

Ideally, you have...

  • 8+ years of influencer marketing, brand advertising, branded content and sponsorship sales 
  • A deep understanding of, and interest in, gaming content creators and creator-focused, multi-platform brand partnerships
  • A rolodex and network of strong relevant partners that can grow into significant and revenue impacting business relationships.
  • A strong command of the sales process and a proven ability to close deals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking, project, and time management skills
  • A demonstrated track record of building and scaling a book of business 
  • A consultative, strategic and solutions-oriented approach to sales
  • A strategic, creative, resilient, innovative, collaborative, coachable disposition and a love for the art of selling
  • Experience working across internal and external parties to sell and execute integrated content campaigns

  • Have a deep knowledge of gaming video content, esports, and adjacent communities
  • Have experience with QSR, CPG, and Entertainment brands and agencies
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working in CRM software suites (we use Salesforce, so knowing it is a plus)
