About this role

KiddeFenwal is seeking a Director of Information Technology who will be responsible for delivering secure technology, solutions, and analytics to enable future business growth. This executive-level role will own design, delivery and performance of back office systems and operational technology including enterprise-wide systems, applications, and network services as well as key business applications, cybersecurity technologies and data analytics environments.

The Director has a mandate to ensure that enterprise information systems operate according to internal standards and legal and contractual requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with other Kidde-Fenwal leaders to ensure that the information technology roadmap and related activities are interlocked with overall company strategies and goals. As an effective leader, they will need to possess strong organizational and collaborative leadership skills. They will need to be hands-on, leading by example.

Leads a medium size team of experienced Enterprise Business Systems and IT Infrastructure professionals or team leaders. Manages work associated with digital business analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of various ERP business systems and databases
Works cross-functionally to understand business requirements and proposes Digital solutions
Manages new and existing systems for optimal use
Manages trainings on systems for relevant end users
Manages effectiveness of digital initiatives across the organization

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of experience managing IT operations environment that comprises enterprise-wide systems, applications, and network services

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to manage/lead development and implementation of strategic technology plans that align with evolving corporate strategies
Demonstrated ability to drive stellar team collaboration to empower rapid technology delivery, initiative prioritization, forward-looking strategy, and innovation
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing technology team
Strong communication skills engaging both technical and business stakeholders
Expertise with cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Experience/expertise with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment JD Edwards experience preferred
Experience negotiating and managing technology vendor agreements to ensure best value
Experience driving user experience initiatives to enhance employee collaboration and productivity
Experience driving cost efficiency in technology delivery though: modern application deployment techniques, continuous review of technology footprint to identify opportunities to streamline and effect cost optimization
Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage budgets while ensuring high return on corporate investment
Provide technology-driven insights to inform business decisions and make business predictions
Must have a passion for driving user/employee satisfaction and a track record of delivering measurable improvements
Demonstrated ability to solve business issues utilizing technology while also managing costs and risk
Skilled at identifying and evaluating new technological developments and gauging their appropriateness for the business
Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with executives throughout the organization, ensuring support for strategic initiatives
Demonstrated ability to make technology decisions and lead IT consolidation activities
