We are currently hiring for a US Customer Service Manager in our Ashland location. This position will manage a team of customer service representatives and ensures service levels are met or exceeded across all three PFG Inc. sites across the United States.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the customer service team to ensure customer requirements are understood, processed, and communicated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Build strong relationships with the customer base.
- Establish and enforce efficient and balanced workflows that maximize efficiency and produce high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Act as liaison between the sales team and the customer service team.
- Provide direction, training, performance management, and career development to direct reports.
- Monitor and measure service metrics and utilize them to develop standards, improvements, and/or changes to processes.
- Ensure all project/department milestones and goals are met.
Qualifications / Training Required
- Minimum 10 years of customer service leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site manufactured product environment where some direct reports work remotely.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements of customer orders.
- Superb skills in people management, communication, team building, and conflict resolution.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and standard MS Office software applications.
- High level of emotional intelligence, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited direction.
- Candidate should display a high level of enthusiasm, motivation, ambition and have a real passion for their work.
