Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, design, and construction administration of high-profile water treatment facilities and sustainable stormwater management systems.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including locally elected officials, service providers, and state administrators.
  • Technical Excellence: Deliver high-quality, fiscally responsive, and operationally efficient solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Site Visits and Meetings: Conduct site visits and attend client/public meetings to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Manage project teams to ensure successful execution of the contracted scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, business correspondence, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.


Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Certification: Kentucky Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Experience: 10+ years in the design and construction administration of water utility and wastewater infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, including Civil 3D.
  • Expertise: Strong technical background in water resource engineering, with expertise in planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Client Experience: Experience with government and municipal clients.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with LISP/VBA/ARX programming and 3D software (e.g., SketchUp, Navisworks).
  • Network Technologies: Understanding of network technologies (Microsoft) and experience with government standards (OSHPD, DSA, LADBS).
