Job Summary:
Are you a seasoned Senior Water Resources Engineer passionate about leading innovative water and wastewater projects? Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead the planning, design, and construction administration of high-profile water treatment facilities and sustainable stormwater management systems.
  2. Client Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including locally elected officials, service providers, and state administrators.
  3. Technical Excellence: Deliver high-quality, fiscally responsive, and operationally efficient solutions.
  4. Site Visits and Meetings: Conduct site visits and attend client/public meetings to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
  5. Team Leadership: Manage project teams to ensure successful execution of contracted scope, budget, and schedule.
  6. Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, business correspondence, and present information to clients and stakeholders.


Requirements
  1. Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Kentucky Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • 10+ years of experience in design and construction administration of water utility and wastewater utility infrastructure projects in a consulting environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, including Civil 3D
  • Strong technical background in water resource engineering, with expertise in planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience with government and municipal clients
  • Familiarity with LISP/VBA/ARX programming and 3D software (SketchUp, Navisworks)
  • Understanding of network technologies (Microsoft) and experience with government standards (OSHPD, DSA, LADBS)
