About the Homeless Services Manager Role
The Manager of our Safe Harbors Homeless Services Program plays a crucial role in reducing homelessness and improving the quality of life for individuals facing severe challenges. With a focus on providing housing first and tailored support for those experiencing homelessness and severe mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorders, this role requires compassion, strategic thinking, and decisive decision-making. The selected candidate will lead a dedicated team in developing and implementing effective support services while overseeing assessments, interventions, and service planning.
By ensuring adherence to agency policies and spearheading program development, the Homeless Services Manager will directly impact the well-being and empowerment of those in need within our community. What Matters Most
To excel as the Manager of our Homeless Services Program, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services
- A minimum of three years of direct care experience within homeless services for the client population in focus
- One year of supervisory experience
- A valid Driver's License for outreach and service delivery
Proficiency in assessing client needs, developing individualized service plans, and coordinating with community resources is vital. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary to handle complex client cases and lead the team in delivering high-quality care.
