Role:

Support the financial management and operations of the Credit Union through the maintenance of records and reports. Perform routine tasks as directed by the Operations Department. This position is the primary point of contact for the ITM/ATM program with our external vendors. Maintain vendor relationships. Partner with project leads and other related functional areas within the organization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:



Act as the primary contact for the Branches, Contact Center, and other member facing departments for the research and resolution of debit card issues. Work with vendor supplied software to troubleshoot concerns with debit card performance. Work with Instant Issue vendor to ensure branch software/hardware is current and working properly. Manage gift card stock.



Perform daily tasks to support ACH processing, stop payments, written statements of unauthorized debt, as well as the creation and processing of ACH origination batches. Perform daily share draft exception processing, review checks for proper signature, process forgery claims and check adjustments; daily remote deposit capture, ATM, and ITM processing of member and nonmember deposits. Reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly.



Maintain ATM/ITM performance through effective monitoring, and communication with branches and service providers to ensure minimum downtime. Complete the ATM/ITM cash orders for all offsite machines. Travel to site locations, as needed. Work with external vendors, as needed.



Monitor associated vendor expenses utilizing effective and efficient measures to help minimize costs; communicate cost-saving suggestions to the Operations Manager. Provide periodic reports to management regarding trends and usage relating to debit cards, ITM, and ATM activities. Provide other ad hoc reports as requested. Balance and post relevant and associated invoices. Assist with credit card write offs under the direction of the Operations Manager.



Remain current with associated federal and state ATM, ITM, and debit card laws and regulations. Work with the Operations Manager and the VP of Compliance/BSA Officer to comply with regulation changes. Assist in relevant training throughout the organization as needed.



Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Assist with organizational projects. Write and maintain policies and procedures as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience

One to three years of similar or related experience.

Education

A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.

Other Skills

Must be able to operate general office equipment; knowledge Window operating systems; required lifting and motions tasks. Responsible for various database applications.
