Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Serve as a clinical operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing, providing guidance and support to staff members.
  • Quality Assurance: Responsible for the quality of the clinical operations of the nursing units, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, allocate, and control the budget for the nursing units.

  • Nurse Staffing and Performance Evaluation: Assist with nurse staffing, including performance evaluations and orientation of new staff members.
Requirements:
  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN license.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years full-time clinical experience and at least 2 years' experience in nursing supervision.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of MDS process and state/federal regulations, with on-call availability required.
