Job Summary

  • Responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function for Hull Property Group and Gemini Construction, including recruitment, compensation, employee relations and engagement, training, company policies and procedures, and outsourced HR activities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Plan, develop, and implement a strategy for effectively recruiting new hires.
  • Responsible for onboarding new employees, including reviewing the employee handbook, explaining the benefits package, and completing all required application processes, including background checks and drug screens.
  • Administrator and point of contact for current benefits broker.
  • Management of all employee benefits and reconciliations.
  • Certify continuous good value with HR outsourcing and all benefits.
  • Update company handbook as needed.
  • Interface with ownership concerning HR policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for handling and resolving complaints from employees.
  • Conduct exit interviews and report results to leadership.
  • Responsible for updating employee records, including personal information and training records.
  • Plan for employee performance appraisal; develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation, and development.
  • Work with all supervisors to ensure a successful performance review process with on-time completion.
  • Identify key skills and propose training needs accordingly.
  • Oversee company communications and employee engagement.
  • Process New Hires & Separations, including asset recovery & inventory.

  • Complex understanding of effective recruiting tactics and management.
  • Expertise in problem resolution and general management.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity.
  • Ability to influence ownership and provide leadership.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.
  • The percentage of time spent on each job function varies daily, subject to property demands or seasonality.

  • Some travel to offsite locations may be required.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
