Reports To: Director of Finance

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Temporary

Salary: $15.00/Hour

SUMMARY


Provides limited range administrative and clerical support to the San Saba administrative staff in a professional manner. The position of Office Clerk is a limited part time positions of approximately 10 hours a week. It consists of performing various tasks requiring limited knowledge of office systems, scanning, typing, filing, and other basic office type duties assigned by the administration. Responsible for complying with all Hill Country Transit District (HCTD) policies and procedures and all regulations and requirements.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  1. Provides clerical and administrative support to the San Sabe staffing utilizing basic office equipment and software.
  2. Understanding of filing procedures
  3. Use of Copier, Scanner, and computer software
  4. Maintain an organized, orderly, and professional appearing workstation.
  5. Advises supervisor of any issues to ensure orderly and efficient administrative operations.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS


The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy office environment. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet. Duties may be performed outside of normal working hours at varying hours of the day, including weekends and holidays.


PHYSICAL DEMAINDS


The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:


  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
  • Able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must be able to perform general office administrative activities: using personal computer, including word processing and spreadsheet software, copying, filing, faxing, scanning, and using the telephone.
