Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Sales Analyst to ensure that SIG SAUER capitalizes on the benefits offered by our B2B direct and indirect Sales Platforms. This is a hybrid role that will allow you to excel and expand your application management, data analysis, and process improvement strengths in a high-achieving environment. You will harness technology to remove bottlenecks and boost efficiency, track KPIs and metrics, and act as a go-to for sales data. You will evaluate and organize data, analyze market trends, provide support to marketing and sales teams, and identify opportunities for automation. You will support maintaining our sales databases, creating reports and dashboards, defining, and supporting enhancements, and training staff on the effective use of SIG SAUER Sales Platforms.

The right candidate has a strong understanding of mathematics and offices tools, primarily Excel. It is a plus if the candidate has familiarity using Salesforce, and B2B eCommerce and Dealer self-service portals such as Pepperi or equivalent. You can quickly grasp our current setup and business objectives. You should be comfortable with change as we operate within a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and analyzing data
  • Ability to present complex data sets to a wide range of audiences that may require multiple summaries, exceptions, and simplification.
  • Study past sales data to determine sales trends.
  • Build reports highlighting performance, gaps, and trends.
  • Submitting reports to the relevant department heads and management
  • Develop methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data.
  • Establishing new data gathering and analysis techniques within the organization
  • Helping management and other teams draw business goals and needs.
  • Formulating procedural manuals for all departments
  • Conduct research into competitive companies and the surrounding market.

Education/Experience & Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience or college level equivalent in a Sales/Business Analyst role.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Familiarly with data management, analysis, and reporting tools such as Excel (Access, SQL, Cognos, and Alteryx is a plus).
  • Proficiency in mathematics with the skill to translate complex mathematical information into understandable reports
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Report writing and presentation skills
  • Experience with Pepperi or equivalent B2B Ecommerce Platform is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Knowledge of importing sales data and generating Sales Platform reports.
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
  • Primarily making outbound calls (remainder of time: accepting inbound calls, sending emails, and completing administrative responsibilities using a variety of software tools.
