General announcement: Performance Racing School (FPRS) fills a unique role between the motorsports and car culture worlds. We are not a dealership. We provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences for car enthusiasts through performance driving programs, using performance vehicles. All while enjoying a regular work schedule

What you will do:

  • Regular preventative care and repair of FPRS fleet vehicles (Mustang GT, GT500, Mach 1, Focus RS, Fiesta ST, and other Support Vehicles)
  • Examine vehicles using a standardized checklist – identifying and/or troubleshoot maintenance and repairs needs
  • Perform maintenance and repairs; which may include: engine mechanical/electrical, brakes, clutches, fluid changes, tires, etc.
  • Document services performed and parts used
  • Utilize FORD SERVICE NET and Ford IDS programs for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Support the effective and professional operation of FPRS programs
Requirements:

Knowledge and skills you possess:

  • Proven, demonstrable experience as an automotive technician
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems/methods
  • Valid driver’s license w/ proficiency driving manual transmission (CDL desirable)
  • High School Graduate (or equivalent)
  • Ability to interact well with co-workers and others
  • Willingness to follow established processes, while utilizing logical problem-solving
  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately, making quick, sound decisions based on facts
  • Graduate of the Ford Asset Program preferred

Schedule:

  • Primarily Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Rotation of a 9:00 am – 6:00 pm within team during season (Mid-March thru Mid-November)
  • Average of one weekend per month
  • Some holidays
  • Occasional overtime
