Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery installations, and suspension adjustments.
  • Perform state-required vehicle emissions and safety inspections in compliance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to swiftly address customer concerns and provide effective solutions.
  • Complete thorough and honest vehicle inspections, ensuring all reports are accurate and comprehensive.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding service operations, including hazardous waste management and safety protocols.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties as directed by management to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any vehicle issues or damages.
  • Uphold high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the work environment.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • This is an entry-level position; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Capable of working with tools on vehicles positioned above head height.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
  • Demonstrated dexterity for efficient use of hand tools.
  • Ability to stand or walk for the majority of the workday.
  • Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Maintain a brisk pace in a high-volume work environment.
  • Proficient in navigating computer systems.
