Position Summary:

The Service Technician plays a crucial role in executing vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned, adhering to both dealership and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review repair orders from the service dispatcher.
  • Carry out tasks specified in the repair order with precision and efficiency, following dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to secure required components.
  • Tag and save parts for warranty jobs or customer requests.
  • Inspect vehicles to identify any additional safety or service needs.
  • Inform the service advisor promptly if additional work is unnecessary or if repairs cannot be completed within the agreed timeframe.
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles as needed, ensuring customer vehicles are not used for personal errands.
  • Oversee the work of other technicians as assigned.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions and stay updated on technical bulletins.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a mechanic or Automotive Service Technician in a dealership or similar environment.
  • Experience with Toyota vehicle repairs is preferred.
  • Possession of a personal set of tools is required.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair processes.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the USA and pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASE certifications are a plus.
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $35.93 to $46.50, based on experience and qualifications.

Tenure Bonus Program: Eligible for bonus pay after 6 months of employment.

Work Schedule:
  • Full-Time Position
  • 5 days a week with 2 days off
  • Tuesday to Saturday schedule
  • Sundays off
