Position Summary:

If so, this role is for you The Partnership Project Manager assists the Partnership team in creating and maintaining relations with corporate donors and grant stakeholders. They work closely with the team ensuring that both the corporate donor and grant databases are updated, and supporters are recognized. This position is crucial to the success of the mission as it helps grow the donor base, promoting awareness and critical donations to fund the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans that outline project goals, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for both corporate partnerships and grants.
  • Help maintain relations with corporate donors and grantmaking entities.
  • Assist with research of prospective new corporate donors and grant makers.
  • Assist team members in soliciting financial support from businesses of all sizes through email and phone.
  • Create and assist with presentations. Maintain and help manage grant and donor databases.
  • Support and improve fundraising efforts.
  • Identify and engage with support agencies.
  • Distribute public relations and prospect materials.
  • Coordinate all aspects of fundraising events and activities, from planning to execution.
  • Establish realistic budgets for events and account for anticipated fundraising outcomes.
  • Manage and maintain post-award grant reporting.
  • Implement newly created SOPs for the Partnership department.
  • Work with the advertising and marketing departments to promote fundraising events using flyers, advertisements, and digital marketing outreach.
  • Assist Corporate Specialists in achieving their fundraising goals and work with the team to achieve and surpass these goals.
  • Work directly with management and the Development team to manage project workflow and oversee day-to-day milestones for projects.
  • Compile and create folders and marketing materials for Partner prospect meetings.
  • Assist the Partnership department with scheduling meetings, calendar and contacts maintenance, meeting preparation and follow-up, among additional responsibilities.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
  • Previous experience in development, finance, event management, fundraising, or other related field.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Highly tech-savvy with advanced knowledge of project management software such as Notion, Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, etc.
  • Knowledge of grants and the grant process, with some direct experience in grant writing, grant administration, or grant management preferred.
  • Experience working with CRM software.
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to create relationships with donors.
  • Some experience working in event management preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable understanding and working with finances and budgets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
