We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Grand Villa of Ormond Beach. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in food services and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to the menu and dietary requirements

- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

- Assist in the ordering and inventory of food and supplies

- Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed

- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met


Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role

- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
