A successful Accounting Assistant seamlessly manages a diverse range of financial tasks, providing invaluable support to the Accounting Manager. You excel at accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. Your meticulous attention to detail shines through in the reconciliation of accounts and banking activities.

Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant:
  • Efficiently enter invoices into QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organization.
  • Prepare and make bank deposits, ensuring timely processing and secure handling of funds.
  • Assist the accounting team with month-end closing procedures, contributing to the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
  • Maintain organized and accessible financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements for the Accounting Assistant:
  • 1-2 years of experience working with QuickBooks, demonstrating proficiency in handling financial data and transactions.
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and account maintenance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • A keen eye for accuracy, ensuring that financial data is error-free and reliable.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan is a bonus, but a general aptitude for learning new software is essential.
