ACCOUNTANT

Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a dynamic role where you can utilize your skills to the fullest? Our client is seeking a talented and adaptable Accountant to join their growing team. In this role, you will serve as a jack of all trades within the accounting department, playing a vital role in bank reconciliations, month-end closes, account reconciliations for accounts receivable, balance sheet management, and more.

OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Assist in month-end closes and financial reporting.
  • Handle account reconciliations for Accounts Receivable.
  • Accountant maintains and reconciles the balance sheet.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to support various aspects of the department.
  • Provide assistance with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Accountant utilizes manufacturing experience, if applicable, to enhance financial processes.
  • Proficiency in using Sage 100 or other ERP software systems.
  • Utilize Excel skills, including V-lookups and pivot tables, to analyze financial data.
  • Act as a team player, collaborating with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrate a thirst for knowledge and a willingness to seek guidance and ask questions.
  • Contribute to the growth of our rapidly expanding business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting roles, ideally with manufacturing exposure.
  • Proficiency in Sage 100 or similar ERP software.
  • Moderate to advanced Excel skills, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
