Thrust Flight, a fast-growing flight training company in Addison, Texas, is seeking an Operations Specialist. Thrust Flight, established in 2006, is a dynamic company that trains future airline pilots and operates a fleet of over 30 aircraft.  Thrust Flight is looking to fill this position with an energetic, motivated candidate interested in a fast-paced environment in Flight Operations.


Under the direction of the VP of Business Operations, the Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the location. 


Specific duties include but are not limited to:


  • Manage all aspects of the satellite location not specifically assigned to a separate team member, including
    • Facilities
    • Student Progress
    • Resource allocation (aircraft and instructors)
    • Scheduling
  • Work with Vice President of Business Operations to ensure location goals are achievable and forecasts are realistic
  • Assist Vice President of Business Operations with forecasting location resource needs
  • Create and implement procedural improvements for satellite location
  • Work with Vice President of Business Operations to help create company-wide procedural improvements
  • Other duties as assigned by Vice President of Business Operations


Strongly preferred: PRIOR FLIGHT SCHOOL EXPERIENCE


Compensation package:


  •  From $52,000/yr disbursed bi-weekly 
  • Bonus Opportunities
  • 401(k) match 1st of the Quarter after 90 days, with Employer Match & Full Vestment on day one of enrollment
