Job Overview: As a 5G Subject Matter Expert at in our Innovation & Emerging Technology Division, you will spearhead the integration, optimization, and security of 5G technologies across defense networks. This pivotal role demands deep technical expertise, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to national security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Guide the modernization of national strategic command, control, and communications (C3) through cutting-edge 5G technology.
  • Innovation and Roadmapping: Develop, maintain, and update 5G modernization roadmaps, collaborating with stakeholders to align with DoD's strategic objectives.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging 5G technologies and their application within the DoD's R&E program, ensuring technological superiority.
  • Programmatic Support: Offer expertise from concept definition through technology transfer, including participation in Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations (JCTD) and advising on CONOPS development.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to DoD leadership, and represent the division in government-approved forums and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Master’s degree in STEM fields, with a strong preference for candidates with advanced studies in telecommunications or 5G technologies.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in engineering or cybersecurity, with a specific focus on RDT&E. A minimum of 5 years' recent experience in telecommunications or 5G is required, with 7 years preferred.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility is mandatory.
  • Expertise: Proficiency in command, control, communications (C3) engineering, cybersecurity, 5G, EW, and cross-domain solutions. Experience with DoD RDT&E missions and processes is essential.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as CWNE, CCIE Wireless, or other relevant credentials are highly desirable.
Experience: Prior experience with cross-domain solutions and a comprehensive understanding of 5G technology and services
