Our client has retained our services to hire a full-time Marketing Specialist in Harahan, LA

​​​​​​As a Marketing Specialist you will perform company-wide leadership, managing marketing and customer development activities to promote team building, customer service and the profitable sales and service.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our manufacturer product marketers and our account
    manager team to create and execute marketing strategies, customer
    development and customer retention campaigns.
  • With input from the account managers and company management, create
    case studies and customer success stories.
  • Perform market research, monitor competitors & keep up to-date with market
    trends in order for the company to win more customers.
  • Develop a marketing plan, outlining short and long term objectives.
  • Manage all website properties, including some design & development &
    search engine optimization to continually improve our digital presence.
  • Develop media placement strategies & campaigns, including both digital and
    traditional advertising objectives.
  • Perform graphic design and copywriting activities as needed to produce
    content & marketing collateral.
  • Distribute marketing collateral to the account managers, pending manager
    approval.
  • Coordinate marketing support for events such as trade shows, conferences
    and other opportunities
  • Research & present new software options to help streamline the prospecting,
    lead management & sales processes.
  • Interact with other departments to ensure an exceptional level of customer
    service and to solve problems in an effective and timely manner.
  • Prepare and review forecasts to ensure achievement of financial targets,
    control of operational costs and increase profitability.
  • Strive to meet ISO9001 Quality Management System Objectives
  • Follow directions of executive management.
  • Communicate via phone, fax, computer, email and personal calls.
  • Attend training sessions.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Meet deadlines as necessary.
  • Willing to assist other co-workers when available or time permits.


Job Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years or more in marketing activities preferred
  • College Bachelor Degree in Marketing preferred
  • Graphic design experience
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience
  • Digital marketing experience. (SEO, SEM, SMM)
  • Google webmaster tools/analytics experience a plus
  • Management training a plus
  • Use of a computer – i.e. Microsoft MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint programs
  • Project management.
  • Personnel management.
  • Customer service development
