Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our finance team. The Treasury Analyst will play a crucial role in managing our company's liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk. This position requires strong financial analysis skills, proficiency in treasury operations, and the ability to support strategic financial decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Monitor daily cash balances, forecast cash flow positions, and execute cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize idle cash.
- Banking Relationships: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account management, bank fees analysis, and negotiation of banking services.
- Investment Management: Assist in managing short-term investments and surplus cash, including evaluating investment options and monitoring investment performance.
- Debt Management: Monitor and analyze debt levels and interest rate exposure, recommend strategies for debt financing, and support debt-related transactions.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks related to foreign exchange, interest rates, and liquidity, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, to support treasury operations and strategic decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards related to treasury activities.
- Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts to support operational and strategic planning initiatives.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular treasury reports, presentations, and documentation for management and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve treasury processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or CTP certification preferred).
- Proven experience as a Treasury Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of treasury operations and financial risk management.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills (VBA macros, pivot tables, etc.).
- Knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS) and banking platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential financial information.
