The Opportunity
As a leader in streaming entertainment, Netflix's Corporate Treasury team plays a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial structure, risk management, and cash management operations. This includes a substantial debt portfolio and a comprehensive foreign currency hedging strategy. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Treasury team, contributing significantly to our Corporate Finance & Capital Markets initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of capital structure and allocation strategies, along with experience in debt capital markets and financing activities. This position requires a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office attendance expected three times a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and formulate corporate finance strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Engage actively in the deal-making process, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution.
- Create and maintain financial models related to rating agency metrics, liquidity planning, and capital allocation.
- Monitor compliance with essential covenants and collaborate with regulatory and legal teams as necessary.
- Oversee the daily operations of the commercial paper program.
- Manage tracking and reporting for banking relationships, including ratings monitoring and fee analysis.
- Serve as a backup for the Markets Risk Management team, leading the foreign exchange risk management program.
- Communicate complex financial concepts effectively through reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
- Support various cross-functional projects, including M&A strategy and policy documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury or related fields such as banking or fintech.
- Degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in global markets and diverse asset classes.
- Experience in developing and maintaining financial models and large datasets.
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with RPA, SQL, and Google Apps Script (Java) is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
