PROCESS ENGINEER

As a Process Engineer at IMS Gear, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing manufacturing processes and process improvements to meet customer demands. If you are passionate about problem-solving, process optimization, and have a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out hands on machine and process capability studies, making necessary improvements
  • Develop suggestions for investments and provide recommendations
  • Commission and accept equipment and machines, ensuring adherence to process parameters
  • Create and adapt work instructions
  • Develop automation concepts and support process development for new projects
  • Conduct constructive examinations on the function, layout, and design of machines and electrical installations
  • Program machine controls and robots
  • Identify and implement potentials for savings
  • Participate in 8D problem-solving activities, analyzing complex alarms and removing root causes
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations related to environment, compliance, and work safety (ISO14001)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant work experience

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Manufacturing and IATF Standard experience preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Capable of creating and reading electrical schematics and facility layouts in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Basic CNC programming knowledge required
  • Fanuc controller knowledge is a must (Siemens desired)
  • Robot programming skills required
  • Technical writing and logical hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with required measuring equipment
  • Thorough knowledge of statistics
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under pressure and multi-task
  • Self-driven and motivated to learn
  • Computer Skills (MS Office)
