The Opportunity:


The Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in the daily activities of timely deployment of inventory based on merchant purchases leading to a successful onboarding at Aurora Payments. Additionally, the Inventory Specialist will assist the broader Inventory Team with costs tracking across multiple locations and monthly reporting to finance.

The Responsibilities:

· Assist with invoicing end clients.

· Knowledgeable of product support and warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, as well as hardware purchases, and license information.

· Maintain appropriate levels of consumables.

· Receiving and tagging equipment.

· Auditing inventory.

· Entering asset information into asset tracking software system.

· Ensure line items of the purchase order with the packing slip and ensuring the quality of the materials received.

· Responsible for overseeing shipping defective/warranty equipment to vendor and arranging replacement.

· Assist with updating and maintaining inventories for all equipment and supplies including location, asset tag number serial number make and model of equipment.

· Coordinate with Deployment Technician service calls for equipment installation and maintenance as needed.

· Assist with all surplus inventories including recording all End of Life (EOL) inventories and disposal.

· Identify future opportunities for savings.

· Provisioning/preparation of hardware/kits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience working in CRM/Software Ticketing programs preferred.

· Prior experience in the Payment/POS/ATM Industry preferred.

· Strong computer proficiency -- including Microsoft Office, Internet, Outlook, etc.

· Spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills are also important for all positions within the company. These skills are necessary to complement organization, attention to detail, independence, analyzing information and decision making for prioritizing tasks.

· Technical aptitude required, including basic troubleshooting, settings updates/etc.

· Experience in a fast-paced office environment.

· Ability to take initiative and utilize innovative techniques.

· Ability to interact with various departments throughout the organization.

· Ability to participate as a team player.

· Ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate daily tasks; time-management is key.

· A positive attitude, professional work ethic, ability to learn quickly and excellent verbal communication skills are a must

· Ability to lift/carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
