Role Summary:

The Inventory Specialist is essential to the daily operations, ensuring the timely deployment of inventory in alignment with merchant purchases, facilitating a successful onboarding process at Aurora Payments. This role also involves collaborating with the broader Inventory Team to track costs across various locations and prepare monthly financial reports.

This position is ideal for individuals keen on expanding their knowledge in the FinTech sector and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in invoicing for end clients.
  • Possess knowledge of product support, warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, alongside hardware purchases and licensing information.
  • Maintain adequate levels of consumables.
  • Receive and label equipment appropriately.
  • Conduct inventory audits.
  • Input asset details into the asset tracking software.
  • Verify purchase order line items against packing slips, ensuring material quality.
  • Oversee the shipping of defective or warranty equipment to vendors and arrange for replacements.
  • Help update and maintain inventories for all equipment and supplies, including location, asset tag numbers, serial numbers, and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate with Deployment Technicians for service calls related to equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Assist with managing surplus inventories, including documenting all End of Life (EOL) inventories and disposal processes.
  • Identify potential opportunities for cost savings.
  • Prepare and provision hardware and kits.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM or Software Ticketing systems is preferred.
  • Background in the Payment, POS, or ATM industries is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and Outlook.
  • Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills are essential for all roles within the organization, supporting organization, attention to detail, and effective decision-making.
  • Technical aptitude is required, including basic troubleshooting and settings updates.
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment is necessary.
  • Ability to take initiative and apply innovative techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various departments.
  • Team player mentality.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and coordination skills; effective time management is crucial.
  • A positive attitude, professional work ethic, quick learning ability, and excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
