Delivery Systems Support

Summary:
The delivery systems support is responsible for ensuring a quick and efficient load out process by using STORIS to control inventory movements as necessary. The delivery system support is also responsible for running daily reports that are sent to the delivery managers to monitor and use for effective coaching. Throughout the workday, delivery systems support is also responsible for real time monitoring of delivery trucks to ensure that all delivery issues are remedied in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Tasked with inputting the driver/helper names in DispatchTrack for routes run by Gardner-White employees and contractors, they also add the truck number for each employee route.
- Adjust routes and modify time frames, when necessary, in Dispatch Track
- Create and route overflow trucks in DispatchTrack when necessary.
- Complete oversight of DOT related needs. This includes following up with NTCI (the 3rd party company that monitors our DOT files) on file needs such as renewing licenses, renewing DOT medical cards, properly filling out driver applications, and annual reviews.
- Monitor the “Home Damage” report and contact all customers. They communicate with the guests to come to an immediate resolution by offering compensation or service.
- Researches and verifies all orders for the “Not Home” report which is sent to store leadership to reduce multiple attempt deliveries.
- Delivery systems support follow up on all undelivered items and orders from the day prior using DispatchTrack. Call the customer to reschedule or communicate to the corresponding store for customer resolution within 24 hours for orders that are written up wrong or cancelled. When necessary, emails are sent to the fulfillment department to have invoicing errors corrected.
- Tasked to go through assigned trucks from the previous days' deliveries in DispatchTrack to ensure that signatures and pictures have been taken. Daily emails are sent to delivery managers to address the teams that are not complying.
- Put new pieces in the gun during load out that need to be re-picked due to damage.
- Monitor and address customer emails sent to delivery support.
- Notify stores, reps, and customer experience of order errors and advise on corrections if we do not have the system credentials to fix ourselves.
- Correct all orders for the day of delivery that have wrong addresses to prevent the order from being rescheduled.
- Fill orders and break down kits during load out.
- Interact with customers via Podium throughout the day, which involves customer resolution when they have issues with their orders, everything from wrong addresses, the need to reschedule, and unfavorable time frames.
- Contact drivers if they have left over products in their bay that should be out for delivery.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but is able to provide guidance to drivers and helpers to create efficiencies.
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse and dock environment. On the dock, the temperature varies by the season and the area is not well insulated due to all the dock doors being opened during load out. Occasionally office space is provided if necessary.
Physical Demands:
The employee spends most of their day sitting at a desk doing computer work. There is a small element of walking throughout the warehouse that is required. The employee may occasionally be required to lift or move products to allow for proper tagging of merchandise. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Strong computer skills with previous experience in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.
Qualifications needed to perform this position:
- Must be able to pass a preplacement background check and drug test.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, with the 1st shift starting at 6:00AM - 2:00PM.
