Responsibilities
  • Forecasts costs for new projects.
  • Gathers details and compiles data to estimate all sales costs based on specifications.
  • Considers current economic conditions that may affect the organization’s ability to sell its products or services in the marketplace.
  • Provide written quotations to Account Executives and Project Managers as requested using estimating software.
  • Maintain database of all material costs, labor rates and productivity rates. Update information monthly and as needed.
  • Keep accurate records and supporting documents of all pricing, quotations and programs.
  • Participate in costing meetings and adjust pricing to meet costs.
  • Stay abreast of new production techniques and production rates.
  • Creates or modifies Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Communicates daily status reports to Estimating Manager.

Qualifications
  • MUST Have a Strong Signage Background
  • Must have experience in trade show/print industry
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Associates degree or higher in graphics communication or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience estimating in the print industry and or 5 years in print project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word & Excel).
  • Working knowledge of Estimating Systems.
  • Qualified candidate must have a good understanding of the print process. Experience in a retail print, tradeshow or Point of Purchase (POP) manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of printing substrates, processes, fabrication, and finishing processes
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess good analytical and follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively. Able to thrive in a team environment.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
  • At least three years of experience in Project Management position or related field.
  • At least three years of experience in Customer Service.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
