Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Highway Design Professional. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing and improving highway infrastructure, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our transportation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers in highway/roadway improvement projects, leveraging your expertise in design and analysis to drive project success.
  • Perform highway improvement design, including freeway, ramps, local streets, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), signing and striping, retaining wall, and sound wall.
  • Prepare various types of plan sheets, including Layout, Profile, Construction Detail, signing and striping, and others.
  • Assist with quantity takeoffs and engineers' estimates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project planning.
  • Support senior engineers and managers in preparing exhibits, reports, and technical memos, communicating complex ideas effectively to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with various discipline design leaders, including drainage, utility, traffic, electrical, and structural, to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
  • BS in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate is preferred.
  • Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience in Inroads and Civil 3D design software is a plus.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program, contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators.
