Job Summary:
The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative - Sales position at Leo Martin Chevrolet is a critical role within our dealership. This role will be responsible for generating sales leads, following up with potential customers, and ultimately setting appointments for our sales team. This is a full-time hourly position plus commission structure, located in beautiful Lake Jackson, Texas. This is an individual contributor role, so the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive base pay, with the potential to earn commission. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401k options and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and other forms of communication to generate leads and set appointments for the sales team
- Conduct outbound follow-up calls to potential customers who have expressed interest in our dealership
- Utilize various sales scripts and techniques to effectively engage and convert leads into appointments
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our dealership's products and services in order to effectively communicate with potential customers
- Assist with maintaining accurate customer information and communication logs within our CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of potential customers
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills
- Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong phone presence and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
