Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Project Coordinator is responsible for monitoring job progress after construction package issuance. The Project Coordinator will monitor and report key schedule data to ensure it is consistent with company objectives. Strong organizational skills are required for this role, as well as the ability to learn and employ company-provided software to facilitate construction package monitoring. The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Vice President of Project Management. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not, limited to those listed below:

  • Load design information into the construction management platform; verify this information matches the package given to the contractors.
  • Provide all pertinent documentation to the appropriate contractors (i.e., construction drawings, splice reports, approved permits, etc.).
  • Monitor job change requests so production reporting is not hindered.
  • Monitor job progress and update project status trackers.
    • Flag contractors who do not report production promptly.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
  • Collaborate with staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced computer skills with the ability to master various construction management platforms.
  • Competency in Google Suite applications, including Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides, and tracking systems such as Smartsheet and Asana.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Outside plant design or construction experience preferred.

Reporting To: VP of Project Management
