RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator Foreman for a project in Conroe, TX. The HEO Foreman will operate various types of large equipment with company procedures and safety in mind, as well as oversea a team of 6 other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Equipment Superintendent for job duties.
  • Managing and directing Equipment Operators on-site to ensure work is completed.
  • Responsible for coordination and communication with subcontractors in specific phases of construction.
  • Responsible for operating equipment on site when necessary.
  • Responsible for opening and closing of all construction sites.
  • Responsible for timely completion and construction priorities for projects.
  • Load trucks and trailers
  • Perform daily inspection and pre-operation check of equipment.
  • Complete documentation related to these duties.
  • Perform service and maintenance on equipment.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to continuously maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Must adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Properly follow company policies and OSHA compliance regulations
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Perform tasks involving physical labor (ability to lift 50+lbs)
  • Perform tasks on steep and/or uneven surfaces or terrain
  • Identify, load, unload materials, machinery tools and distribute to appropriate location as directed
  • Use hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes to install erosion control devices
  • Read and interpret environmental plans and drawings
  • Have thorough understanding of environmental controls, spotting equipment and hand signals
  • Ability to supervise and manage labor crew
  • Adhere to all HSE, Company, and Customer Policies.
  • Work well with others, possess a positive attitude, and be coachable.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction and follow safe work procedures

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment test and Random Tests
  • Ability to haul a trailer to and from work sites
  • Ability to load and unload equipment
  • Valid Driver's License required with clean driving record
  • Class A CDL or Willingness to get one
  • 5 YRS experience operating Heavy Equipment Track loaders, Excavators, and Backhoes
  • Minimum of 5 years combined experience of construction and construction foreman work
  • Must have proven ability to schedule projects and personnel while working within required deadlines
  • Working experience with all phases of construction
  • Ability to work from drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to produce and maintain reports
