We are seeking a creative, highly organized Associate Sales Manager. This position will be working closely with editorial to identify potential books from our extensive backlist and pitch to new and existing accounts in creative ways. The position will also support the International Sales team to maximize revenue in the open market.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining contact with existing accounts and establishing new relationships to secure ongoing new business
  • Support UK based International Sales team and rep for Latin America
  • Coordinate with internal teams (editorial, design, operations and production) to manage custom sales projects from inception to delivery.
  • Present to key accounts on a seasonal basis
  • Creatively search for new business opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years experience ideally with knowledge of special markets
  • Must be highly organized individual who has the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skill.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Location

Candidates must reside in the NY tri-state area, and be able to work in person 2 days per week.
