ABOUT THE ROLE​

​We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources department, responsible for managing a variety of HR tasks to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the organization. This role requires a versatile individual who can handle multiple HR functions, ranging from talent management to employee relations and compliance.​

​Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:​

Administration: ​

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial employment laws in both the United States and Canada.​
  • Conduct audits and investigations to ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.​
  • Maintain accurate and confidential team member records.​
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making.​
  • Handle and oversee the day to day administrative tasks.​
  • Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, leave requests, and termination documentation.​
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, HRIS implementation, and process improvement.​
  • Reporting and Data Analytics​
  • Oversee and manage HR inbox​
  • Perform employment verification requests​
  • Assist fellow HR team members with various tasks and projects as needed​

Team Member Relations:​

  • Address team member concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.​
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve team member retention.​
  • Provide support and guidance to team members on HR-related matters.​
  • Serve as a liaison between team members and management to address workplace concerns and resolve conflicts.​

ABOUT YOU​

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.​
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.​
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred ​
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.​
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.​
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.​
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.​
  • Proficiency in Ceridian Dayforce and Microsoft Office Suite.​
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.​
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.​
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.​
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.​

ABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT​
