Hut 8 is a leading provider of data center infrastructure for next-generation computing workloads. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and support the growth of our organization.

About the Role

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a variety of HR tasks, including talent management, employee relations, and compliance. This role requires a versatile individual who can handle multiple HR functions and provide support to our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial employment laws in both the United States and Canada.
  • Conduct audits and investigations to ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential team member records.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making.
  • Handle and oversee the day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, leave requests, and termination documentation.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, HRIS implementation, and process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.

This role is based in our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida, with occasional business travel to our various work site locations.
