Our growing team is looking for an upbeat and friendly full-time Front Office Coordinator who has a passion for helping others A Smile 4U is privately owned with locations in Cartersville, Dalton, Decatur, East Point and Hiram. Utilizing the highest quality, state-of-the-art equipment and scheduling technology, we offer multiple specialties under one roof including general dentistry, orthodontics, sedation dentistry, and oral surgery. Additionally, we provide services to both pediatric and adult populations and are dedicated to providing a positive and memorable patient experience for all ages.


The Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to: welcoming and greeting patients, patient check in/check out, verifying patient information and insurance coverage, processing payments, answering incoming calls and assisting other team members when needed while providing superior customer service to patients.


-Check-in patients & collect balance/co-pays due prior to services; update patient chart, as required.-Check-out patients.-Discuss treatment plans with patients
-Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism.-Complete daily overview of upcoming patient appointments.-Call and confirm all scheduled patient appointments.-Make follow up appointments for patients.-Assist with Hygiene and Orthodontics recall lists, missed & cancelled lists and treatment plan reports to try and fill in cancellation and no show appointment times.-Verify all orthodontic patients are on a 3-month prophy jet recall.-Maintain service logs and clinic logs on a daily basis.-Assist clinic with insurance verification, when requested.-Assist with front office supply inventory needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication
