The original company began in 2008, and initially manufactured original equipment for various industries. Beginning in 2016, our business changed its paradigm to focus on providing services in the Oil & Gas Industry.


We are currently seeking a dynamic candidate for the role of Accountant. The Accountant is responsible for providing accounting support for all our individual business divisions and our corporate headquarters. The Accountant will help prepare financial reports to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting for a multi-divisional company and general accounting expertise. This role will work within accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounts, and other inter-company transactions. This hands-on position is perfect for someone who wants to continue to develop their career by taking ownership, helping to create SOPs and best practices, supporting all other departments, and providing mentorship for other accounting roles.


The exact responsibilities and scope of this role will depend upon the candidate hired. We continually encourage cross-training and growth of individual skill sets. Job Summary:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • · Performs general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
  • · Prepares balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements for review.
  • · Maintains the general ledger accounts and performs reconciliations.
  • · Focus to start in Accounts Payable but accounts receivable experience is a plus.
  • · Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and helps close the monthly books.
  • · Supporting month-end and year-end close.
  • · Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections.
  • · Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
  • · Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • · Complies with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • · Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures.
  • · Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Work with external audits and yearly tax returns.
  • Mentor and train junior accountants and accounting team as needed.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • · Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
  • · Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • · Highly proficient with accounting software including QuickBooks.
  • · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Excel.
  • · Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet short deadlines.
  • · Ability to work a 9am to 6pm M-F work schedule.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior accountants and accounting team.

Education and Experience:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • 3 to 5 years (or more) of accounting experience required.
  • 2 years of experience within public accounting working with manufacturing and construction clients.
  • Experience working with external audits and yearly tax returns.
  • · Management and supervisory skills and experience is a plus.
  • · Experience working with multiple companies/divisions
  • · A/P experience.
  • · Bill.com experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • · Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • · Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
