Job Summary:
The Sales Account Executive is a motivated salesperson who will take ownership of sales goals and drive results. This position will meet with prospects to listen and help uncover their current challenges, business goals and initiatives to see if Visory has products or services that will help them solve problems and set them up for success and growth. The goal is to create strong partnerships with each company that is mutually beneficial for both parties. This position will work on any other initiative and ongoing projects as assigned in addition to any other duties the Company may assign. This position will report to the SVP, Sales + Marketing.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the charge introducing Visory to assigned territories.
- Prospect, qualify and develop opportunities in new accounts.
- Demonstrate the value proposition our services and products to prospective customers by directly calling on key executives and founders of the firm.
- Leverage partnerships and associations to network and build a successful pipeline of opportunities.
- Attend industry events to network with prospect stakeholders, gain industry insight and represent Visory.
- Oversee the sales cycle from prospect to close and partner with other teams to ensure successful onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status in CRM
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals through outbound sales efforts.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure goals are met
- Work closely with Marketing in order to build campaigns, events, webinars to educate prospects on our products and services
- Utilize our Account Based Marketing tool, email campaign tools, social media and other value add concepts to help aide in prospecting and client acquisition
- Understand the pain points of a company and approach each conversation with a consultative approach.
- Partner with Product and Solutions teams to ensure our solutions meet the needs of the market.
- Capitalize on warm referrals from your market connections and accounts
- Stay informed about trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats
Required Skills/Abilities:
The day-to-day moves quickly around here, yet we have a long-term vision that also requires attention. The ideal candidate can juggle many responsibilities, while simultaneously prioritize key activities. In our opinion, this requires the following skills and attributes:
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality
- Polished interpersonal communication skills and consultative selling experience. Ability to present with confidence to executives and founders.
- Strong attention to detail while able to multi-task.
- Ability to forecast deals with reliability and use the CRM to run your territory.
- Track record of delivering sales quota goals, verifiable over a 5-year period.
- Persistence
We are also looking for candidates that are genuinely interested in the market we serve and the manner in which we bring value to that industry. In our opinion, this may be demonstrated through the following attributes:
- Knowledge or background in the Phoenix industry is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge or background in IT/Tech and Cyber Security is a plus, but not required
- Passion for helping clients and cultivating valuable relationships in the industry
- A drive to succeed in the role and do what is best for the client
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or other related discipline
- Preferred 3 year+ experience in a sales role with proven ability to meet or exceed goals.
- Experience using following tools in Sales Outreach is a plus: CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales engagement platforms.
