Talent Acquisition Manager Position Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and execute talent acquisition efforts at DAC.
  • Reconcile the number of open positions on all platforms daily. Assure data accuracy and completeness of the hiring plan.
  • Supervise progress and ensure the hiring manager's adherence to the recruitment or development plan for their operation.
  • Perform monthly job posting audits and recommend roles to be posted to align with the hiring plan.
  • Organize and execute recruitment programs, partnerships, internships, and apprenticeships with colleges and universities.
  • Maintain relationships with professional networks to source qualified candidates.
  • Continuously research best practices and create new tactics to improve talent acquisition processes.
  • Update current and design new talent acquisition procedures if needed.
  • Report talent acquisition metrics quarterly.
  • Participate in the talent acquisition function with the team during the interview and onboarding phase.
  • Review resumes and qualifications to determine the suitability of candidates daily. Triage and manage the recruitment portal daily.
  • Source applicants through various methods including social media, advertising, job sites, career fairs, etc.
  • Make recommendations to the hiring managers and directors on available candidates.
  • Phone screen candidates, schedule, and coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and align with the hiring managers as needed.
  • Inform candidates fully about the job and company.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to managers on the talent acquisition status.
  • Extend offers of employment within company procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage the job offer including negotiation and administration.
  • Create job descriptions and update current JPDs as needed; Review and clarify job specifications, competencies, and skills required.
Requirements:

Talent Acquisition Manager Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Require
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or TAS required
  • Experience in the trade construction employment environment is preferred.
  • Five or more years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in the construction or specialty trade market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to think critically when phone screening, interviewing, or reference checking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
