Position Overview
Over the last 13 yrs our Agency has grown to serve over 4000 local households that we proudly consider our State Farm Family In your role as a Customer Service Representative, you will help these customers adjust their insurance plans to meet the changing demands of their lives. The warm greeting and attentive service you provide will ensure that every interaction customers have with State Farm is both memorable and enjoyable. A typical day in the life of a Customer Service Representative at our Agency could include the following: assisting a family with insurance for their new home; helping a customer file a claim after an accident; explaining the impact of possible coverage changes; or providing a quote for a new vehicle purchase. You will use every opportunity to connect with those we serve and make them feel valued and appreciated. Our service is what differentiates us from our competitors, and you will be responsible for making it remarkable

Responsibilities
- THIS IS NOT A SALES OR COMMISSION BASED POSITION
- Greet our customers with a warm smile and make them feel welcome and appreciated
- Assist our current State Farm customers with basic to complex requests
- Provide advice and recommendations tailored to individual needs
- Work as a Team player to provide our customers the exemplary service we are known for

- No insurance background required - we will educate and train the right candidate
- We do expect candidates to have prior office experience (Insurance, Banking, Healthcare Admin, or advanced retail experience) or be recent college graduates
- Salaries will be based on the strength of the applicant and the relevancy of their experience
Hiring Process
- When you apply you will immediately receive a personality assessment exam by email (please check your junk folder). The assessment should take 10-15 minutes to complete.
- Candidates who receive an acceptable score will receive a follow-up email invitation to complete a very brief video interview.
- Top candidates from the video interview will be invited to have a detailed in-person conversation to discuss the opportunity (at which point we will answer any questions you may have regarding the workload, job duties, pay structure, and benefits)
