The Role:

As a Business Development Representative specializing in OT (Operational Technology) Managed Services, Helpdesk Support, and Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) Devices, you will be responsible for generating leads, identifying opportunities, and selling our comprehensive suite of services tailored to clients in industrial and operational sectors. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, fostering relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grow sales and close business.
  2. Lead Generation: Proactively research, identify, and qualify potential leads within the OT sector through various channels including online research, networking events, cold calling, and email campaigns.
  3. Opportunity Identification: Understand client pain points, requirements, and objectives to effectively position our services as solutions. Collaborate with the sales team to assess opportunities and develop tailored strategies for engagement.
  4. Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT managers, and operational leaders, to understand their business needs and challenges, and to position our services as valuable solutions.
  5. Solution Selling: Effectively articulate the value proposition of our OT Managed Services, Helpdesk Support, and RMM Devices to prospective clients. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of our offerings.
  6. Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM software. Track progress, update records, and provide regular reports to the sales management team.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, collateral, and messaging aligned with the needs and preferences of the OT sector. Provide feedback on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to OT managed services, helpdesk support, and RMM devices. Continuously update knowledge and skills to remain competitive in the market.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development, preferably in the IT services or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of operational technology, including industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, and IoT devices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications in sales or relevant technologies (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco) are a plus.
