A small, privately held U.S. subsidiary of a large Japanese electronics manufacturer seeks to add an experienced, full-time Human Resouces Assistant to the team. This position is based out of the Tempe, AZ office. Our U.S. employees are currently working in a hybrid work environment with three days in the office and two days remote each week. This hybrid schedule is subject to change, although no changes are planned for the foreseeable future.


The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a small HR team which may include assisting with payroll functions, supporting internal/external HR inquires and requests, maintaining paper and electronic employee records, supporting HR-related training programs and other day-to-day activities as assigned.  


This role would best fit an individual with a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in an HR Assistant or related role. 


Skills for successful candidates include excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy; the ability to multitask; excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy and excellent verbal and written communication skills.  


The nature of this position would suite individuals who are comfortable learning new technology; like to work independently and in a team; adhere to strict deadlines; accommodate changing priorities and thrive with constant interruptions.
