Job Overview

Position: HR Administrative Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a reputable construction firm seeking to enhance their workforce by hiring an HR Administrative Assistant. This role is structured for a standard workweek, providing a balanced work-life schedule. Initial training will take place in the office, transitioning to a hybrid model thereafter. Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in HR support to qualify for this position. The compensation for this role ranges from $21 to $24 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment activities, including posting job openings, arranging interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Maintain and update personnel files and HR information systems.
  • Address employee inquiries and assist in resolving HR-related concerns.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation and official communications.
  • Assist in the coordination of various HR programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and relevant employment regulations.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • At least 6 months of experience in an HR support capacity.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information responsibly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Compensation: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
