Position Summary:

The Collaboration Liaison serves as the liaison for Clair Mel Elementary and Dowdell Middle School and the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program deliverables. In this role, the Liaison, will be responsible for building and sustaining relationships with school administrators, teachers, and counselors. The Liaison will provide curriculum maps to the Program Manager in order to align to design 21st CCLC program activities that align with school day instructions and will track 21st CCLC school attendance, behavior, and academic grades.

The Liaison may assist the Program Director and staff in developing and monitoring curriculum delivery.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: Maintain close daily contact with Program Manager on training, directing and monitoring program deliverables.

External: Maintain contact with the school administrators, teachers, counselors, and parents

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of program deliverables.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate with different audiences.
  • Demonstrate ability to develop, implement, and train on program delivery model.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Implement tasks or project specific directives from supervisor.
  • Assist with the management of inventory and oversee purchase of materials.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record and consistent access to a motor vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
EXPERIENCE:
  • A minimum of two years work experience in a Boys or Girls Club or similar organization.
  • Experience in Grant oversight or deliverables a plus.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
