Compensation begins at $16.00 per hour.

The Patient Care Liaison is responsible for managing all incoming communications via phone and email from both internal and external sources, ensuring a professional and courteous interaction.
This role involves confirming eligibility, assessing transportation needs, and determining the appropriate mode of transport. The Liaison will utilize scheduling software to coordinate recurring, last-minute, and future trip arrangements, while also troubleshooting transportation challenges with healthcare facilities and health plan representatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly to incoming calls and other communications.
- Perform typing, documentation, and email correspondence.
- Collaborate with team members, other Access2Care personnel, healthcare professionals, and providers.
- Gain proficiency in Access2Care's transportation software applications.
- Assist in managing recurring and urgent trips for eligible members.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in a Dispatch/Communications Center is preferred.
- Experience in phone correspondence and customer service is preferred.
- Prior dispatch or routing experience is preferred.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- At least six (6) months of relevant work experience within the last 4 years is required.
Skills:
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage and follow up on tasks and set priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Capacity to multitask with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and navigate various software programs.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships across all management levels and excel in a team environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and services is preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
