About the role:

The Sales Manager will develop and execute the sales strategy for brands in the Enterprise UAS portfolio: Dronefly and DSLRpros. S/He will report to the CEO and manage our Inbound Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, and Revops teams while working alongside the heads of Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Finance.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, oversee, and scale all go-to-market initiatives for EUAS brands.
  • Sales and Business Development team management, including hiring, training, developing, and motivating.
  • Establish clear, measurable goals and strategies for inbound sales, business development, and customer success each month, quarter, and year, directly tied to the Company’s growth goals.
  • Master, streamline, and optimize our sales systems and processes. 
  • Reporting and measurement in real-time, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and reports for key initiatives, category and industry progress, team productivity, and customer analysis.
  • Competitive intelligence, sales analysis, and pricing are needed to ensure revenue/margin growth.
  • Work with marketing and product teams to better position products in their respective markets.
  • Measure and increase sales close rate by standardizing the selling process, developing the sales team's skills, and executing sales compensation models.
  • Reviewing customer activity, anticipating customer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Work alongside team members as a player-coach in the trenches.
  • Transform our Customer Success department from reactive to proactive, with clear KPIs and deliverables, working in lockstep with inbound sales and business development.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of hitting sales targets.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales (Enterprise solutions, tech, and or hardware experience is a plus)
  • 1-2 years of sales management experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, and/or consumer electronics.
  • Proven experience developing and refining processes, playbooks, KPIs, short/long term goals and strategies, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to make recommendations and drive actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills; comfortable delivering presentations to C-level executives.
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams.
  • Understanding commercial pricing, P&L, impact analysis, and business management is a plus.
  • Experience in startups and scaling from SMB.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales principles, practices, and employee motivation techniques.
  • Experience in the execution of brand building and development in new markets.
  • A huge plus is technical awareness of Drone technologies, software, and hardware is a huge plus.
  • Experience managing customer service teams.
  • High adaptability to situational and organizational changes.
