In this role, you will be responsible for managing all accounting functions related to engineering and construction projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual with strong knowledge of engineering and construction accounting principles.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of project accounting, including project setup, budgeting, billing, and cost tracking
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting
  • Analyze project financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Participate in project cost reviews and provide recommendations for cost control
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering or construction accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
