POSITION SUMMARY:

Be an instrumental part of project teams building heavy civil, transit, and transportation construction projects ranging from $1 million to $1 billion+. Our Office Managers are clear communicators that can coordinate manage multiple payroll, invoicing, and labor compliance documents, while handling the shifting needs of an office.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Leading and/or working as part of a Team in a coordinated effort.
  • Operating under tight deadlines with precision, speed, and reliability.
  • Able to continually adjust priorities to best serve the projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; multi-project capacity.
  • Bluebeam or Adobe PDF editing software
  • HCSS or similar (HeavyJob)


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

(Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

 

  • Proven capacity and desire to work with a high volume of tasks.
  • 10+ years of construction specific administrative experience with evidenced leadership ability.
  • Excel will be frequently used and strong skills with Excel are required.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite is required.
  • Payroll experience required with Union Payroll experience required.
  • Accounts Payable experience required.
  • Experience with Viewpoint and Vista are required.
  • Exposure to Heavy Civil, Transit, and Transportation projects with public works agencies in Southern California.
  • 20% travel capability required between projects within drivable proximity.
  • A Driver’s License is required.
