Position: Construction Operations Manager
Job Type: 1099 contract
Location: Remote (within preferred proximity)
Compensation: $38-$43/hour


Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Construction Operations Manager to lead the daily functions of our organization. This role involves overseeing project management, supervising personnel, preparing cost estimates, and validating financial documents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of operational workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily activities to ensure all departments operate smoothly and efficiently.
  • Project Coordination: Organize and oversee project planning tasks, including scheduling, resource distribution, and timeline management. Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Personnel Supervision: Lead and support team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and guidance to excel in their roles. Monitor performance and address any challenges that arise.
  • Cost Estimation: Create precise and competitive project estimates, taking into account labor, materials, and other relevant expenses. Collaborate with clients and team members to refine estimates and ensure satisfaction.
  • Invoice Validation: Review and authorize invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual agreements. Collaborate with the finance team to manage transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Quality Control: Establish and uphold quality assurance protocols to guarantee that all services and products meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, promptly addressing their needs and concerns. Aim to exceed client expectations and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Team Development: Mentor and train staff, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Encourage ongoing professional growth and improvement among team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in management within a service-oriented business or related field.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, FSM, and CRM software.
  • Familiarity with the construction services industry is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
